Hi! I’m Susan. I am an avid reader, a Mah Jongg instructor, a community nonprofit volunteer, and an accidental author. My roots are in Pennsylvania Dutch country, but I grew up in a small southern textile town in northern North Carolina. About The Book

There is an old song sung by Bill Withers that starts “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone. It’s not warm when she’s away.” Perhaps something has happened to you that caused you to feel that all the sunshine and warmth has gone out of your life. Maybe you have lost someone very dear to you or possibly you suddenly found yourself out of a job.
